Sparky’s Electric Inc. was founded in Calgary, Alberta, in January 2017 by Kevin . Bringing over many years of prior industry experience to the venture, Kevin now leads the company with more than 22 years of hands -on expertise in the demanding fields of electrical and telecommunications infrastructure construction.
Recognizing the critical need for specialized skills to build Alberta’s rapidly evolving communication networks, Sparky’s Electric was established with a core focus on quality, safety, and the burgeoning potential of fiber optics. This vision, combined with a relentless commitment to reliable service, continues to guide our company eight years later.

Today, Sparky’s Electric is proud to be a leader in Fiber Optic Network Construction, which forms the core 80% of our business across Alberta. We deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions encompassing Outside Plant (OSP) construction, precision Fiber Splicing, and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) installation. Our significant in-house capabilities in Horizontal Directional Drilling and Hydrovac Excavation are key to our integrated and efficient approach.
Complementing our primary focus, we also provide expert Commercial Electrical Services (20% of our work), offering businesses reliable power, lighting, maintenance, and installation solutions delivered by our team of licensed electricians.
Sparky’s Electric is a trusted partner in Fiber Optic Network Construction across Alberta.
